Digital banking trends drive embedded insurance and mobile corporate management

The global embedded insurance market is projected to grow from $188.69 billion in 2026 to approximately $2,066.97 billion by 2035, according to Precedence Research. This growth is driven by digital banking, e-wallets, and APIs, allowing insurance to be integrated directly into transactions such as travel bookings, vehicle purchases, or money transfers.

In Vietnam, banks like BIDV, VietinBank, and MB are integrating account protection insurance into transfer processes. While these products offer low monthly premiums with significant coverage against digital fraud, some users have reported dissatisfaction on app stores, citing intrusive prompts that disrupt the user experience.

Simultaneously, digital banking is evolving to support corporate operations via mobile devices. Platforms like TPBank Biz aim to transform smartphones into financial command centers, enabling SMEs and large corporations to manage international payments, trade finance, and cross-border transfers. These tools allow executives to monitor cash flow and approve transactions remotely, reducing reliance on traditional office-based systems.
