Digitális Polgári Kör announces first national camp in Lakitelek

The Digitális Polgári Kör (DPK) has announced its first national camp, scheduled to take place on October 17-18 at the Lakitelek Hungarikum Központ. Organized by Philip Rákay, the event aims to bring together influential figures associated with Fidesz, including publicist Zsolt Bayer, opera singer Erika Miklósa, and various political representatives.

The two-day program is described as a mix of public, cultural, and community events, featuring lectures, debates, and live music. Participation is fee-based, with standard tickets priced at 6,000 HUF (3,000 HUF for those under 25) and premium support tiers reaching up to 100,000 HUF. Attendees are responsible for their own accommodation, though a 20% discount is offered for local lodging.

The DPK movement was originally established by Viktor Orbán in 2025. The organization's parent company, Digitális Demokráciafejlesztési Ügynökség Nonprofit Kft., reported revenues of 5.6 billion HUF in 2025. Organizers noted that interest in the event has been significant, with expressions of interest coming from approximately 900 settlements.
