Digital connectivity advances in Slovenia and Croatia

Recent reports highlight advancements in digital connectivity and 5G infrastructure across Slovenia and Croatia.

In Slovenia, an analysis by nPerf indicates that Telekom Slovenija leads in 5G coverage with an index of 72.75%, while A1 maintains the highest 4G coverage at 96.60%. Telemach ranks third in both 5G and 4G coverage categories. Regional data shows Telekom Slovenija achieves its highest 5G coverage in the Central Slovenia region at 81.3%.

In Croatia, a European Commission report on the state of the Digital Decade for 2026 reveals that the country's 5G network covers 97.78% of the population, surpassing the European Union average of 96.79%. Croatia is also seeing rapid growth in the 3.4-3.8 GHz frequency band and maintains fixed optical fiber (FTTP) coverage for 77.94% of its population, which is above the EU average of 74.13%.
