Digital Dragons 2026 cybersecurity competition expands to Southeast Asia
The Digital Dragons: The Cybersecurity Challenge (DDC 2026) held its final round on September 19, featuring 25 top teams competing in an eight-hour practical cybersecurity contest. Organized by the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU) in collaboration with Singapore-based EVVO Labs and supported by the National Cybersecurity Association, the event has expanded its scope to a regional level.
Following an online preliminary round that attracted 161 teams from 38 universities and research institutes, the finals included international participants from Cambodia (Cambodian Academy of Digital Technology) and Malaysia (German-Malaysian Institute). The competition aims to foster professional expertise, encourage innovation in cyberspace security, and train high-quality digital human resources in Southeast Asia.
