Digital Education Week addresses online violence in Warsaw
The National Digital Education Week is currently underway in Warsaw, involving over 30,000 high school students. Held at the Palace of Culture and Science from September 14 to 18, the event focuses on addressing indifference toward online harm and teaching safe responses to hate speech, violence, and other digital threats.
Organized by the STOP Znieczulicy Foundation and Civitas University as part of the ‘STOP Znieczulicy: Wyloguj Obojętność’ campaign, the program includes expert-led workshops. These sessions cover topics such as cyberbullying, disinformation, artificial intelligence, online security, and the impact of technology on mental well-being and attention.
Following the student sessions, an Open Weekend will be held on September 19 and 20 for parents, teachers, seniors, and the general public to participate in the educational initiative.
