Argentina e-commerce billing grows 28% in first half of 2026

Argentine e-commerce experienced significant growth during the first half of 2026. According to data from the Cámara Argentina de Comercio Electrónico (CACE), the sector's billing reached approximately $19.5 trillion pesos, representing a 28% year-on-year increase.

Key indicators show that the number of purchase orders rose by 21% to 181.5 million, while the total number of items sold increased by 22% to 248 million. The average ticket per order was recorded at $107,597 pesos.

Leading product categories by billing included Food and Beverages, Electronics (White Goods), and Tools and Construction. While overall mass consumption saw a monthly rebound of 4.2% in July, it remained 2.6% lower than the previous year. However, e-commerce continues to be a high-growth sector, showing a 35.6% increase in the cumulative annual total.
