Digital infrastructure updates: NÖGlasfaser discounts and Devolo WiFi 7 mesh

In Lower Austria, NÖGlasfaser is offering discounted fiber optic connections in the Kirchschlag municipality. Residents can secure individual connections for €599 instead of the standard €900 until October 15, 2026, provided they commit to a 24-month contract. The infrastructure remains under the ownership of the state of Lower Austria.

In Germany, Devolo has introduced the WiFi 7 Mesh BE6500. This networking solution utilizes the 6 GHz frequency band to improve bandwidth stability in larger homes and offices. The system is available in sets of two or three units, with the capability to expand up to five units to eliminate signal loss caused by distance.
