Digital Innovation Forum to address European technological sovereignty

The fourth edition of the Digital Innovation Forum is scheduled to take place from October 14 to 16, 2026, at Villa Erba in Cernobbio. The event focuses on the theme ‘L’Europa del Fare Innovazione’ (Europe Doing Innovation), aiming to address European technological sovereignty, industrial competitiveness, and strategic technologies.

A primary objective of the forum is to produce a Manifesto containing ten concrete actions designed to translate European policies into measurable industrial, economic, and social results. The program is structured into three main pillars: the first day focuses on policy and geopolitics, the second on investments and venture capital including startup pitches, and the third on broader innovation discussions.

The forum is promoted by the Fondazione Innovazione Digitale ETS and holds various institutional sponsorships, including the European Commission and the Italian Ministries of Economy and Finance, Defense, and Environment and Energy Security.
