Digital literacy and AI workshops launched in Croatia

Educational workshops in Croatia are focusing on enhancing digital literacy and cybersecurity skills. In Zagreb, the Matica umirovljenika Hrvatske, in partnership with Dom za starije osobe Dubrava, held workshops titled ‘Internet Safety’ and ‘Smartphones’ as part of the ‘Together for a Better Tomorrow’ project.

The internet safety sessions aimed to help participants recognize online fraud, protect personal and banking data, and manage passwords securely. The smartphone workshop provided practical training on using applications like WhatsApp to facilitate communication with family and friends.

Additionally, the Dubrovnik Development Agency (DURA) is organizing a two-day workshop titled ‘Improve Your Business with AI and Digital Tools’ scheduled for October 16–17, 2026. This program is designed to help businesses integrate technologies such as ChatGPT, e-commerce strategies, digital marketing, and blockchain to increase competitiveness in a global market.
