Digital partners strengthen digital inclusion in Ostallgäu

A regional network of ‘Digital Partners’ in Kaufbeuren and Ostallgäu is working to strengthen digital participation for elderly citizens and people with disabilities. Since early 2024, the network has coordinated various services to provide support for using digital media, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, online banking, and internet security.

Participating organizations include the Generationenhaus Kaufbeuren, vhs OAL-Mitte, the Bavarian Red Cross, and the Haus der Begegnung. These partners offer individual consultations and small group sessions to help users navigate digital tools at their own pace. A new joint flyer has been released to help residents locate these regional support services.
