Digital payment expansions for businesses and ZUS in Poland

Digital payment capabilities are expanding for businesses and social security contributors in Poland. ING Bank Śląski has become the first bank in the country to offer full BLIK P2P functionality to its business clients via the ING Business mobile app. This allows companies to both send and receive transfers using a phone number, with a single transfer limit of 1,000 PLN and a daily limit of 5,000 PLN. Receiving transfers is free, while outgoing transfers follow the bank's standard domestic transfer fee structure.

Separately, the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) is enhancing its mZUS for Payers application. While electronic payments for social security contributions are currently available through nine banks, ZUS has announced that BLIK payments will soon be integrated into the system. The mZUS app currently features a payment wizard that allows users to settle dues, including interest and pending declarations, with updated balances appearing within two business days.
