Digital Realty to develop 50MW of data center capacity in Singapore

Digital Realty has been selected to develop 50 megawatts of new data center capacity in Singapore under the country’s second Data Center Call for Application (DC-CFA2). The new facility will be located at Jurong Town Corporation’s low-carbon data center park on Jurong Island.

The project aims to support the growing demand for AI inference, high-performance computing, and enterprise digital workloads across the Asia Pacific region. To align with Singapore’s sustainability goals, the facility is designed for high energy efficiency, with plans to power more than 50% of its capacity through green energy pathways.

Digital Realty was chosen through a competitive process led by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA). The selection is intended to strengthen Singapore’s role as a digital infrastructure and connectivity hub for Asia.
