Digital skills training initiatives launched in Spain and Argentina
In Spain, the Lidera FP vocational training center, managed by the Chamber of Commerce in Cáceres, has opened enrollment for three technology-focused programs. The offerings include two Higher Degree cycles and a specialization course in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data. A key feature of these programs is the inclusion of up to 700 hours of practical training within companies, aimed at connecting technical education with the local productive sector.
In Argentina, the national government has opened registration for nine free, online courses through its Virtual Learning Platform (PAV). These asynchronous, self-assisted courses cover various digital and professional skills, including graphic design with Figma and GIMP, user experience (UX) design, cybersecurity, and computer crimes. Registration for the Argentine program remains open until November 9, with the course period running from November 3 through December 14, 2026.
