Digital sports initiatives expand in Japan through corporate sponsorship and school events
Mouse Computer is sponsoring the e-sports event ‘CONNeCT TOCHIGI 2026’ held in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture. The company will provide its ‘G TUNE’ gaming PC brand for product demonstrations and exhibition matches. The event features professional gamers, including players from the DetonatioN FocusMe team, who will participate in matches and interactive sessions with attendees.
Separately, the All Japan Sassen Association provided 20 sets of equipment for ‘Cyber KASSEN,’ a next-generation digital sport, at Tachikawa Seventh Junior High School in Tokyo. The event was organized by the student council, which received online training on how to operate the sensor-based devices. The association aims to promote the use of digital sports in educational settings, including school events and physical education classes.
