Digital tools and AI aim to optimize workflows and manage digital availability
Digital communication tools and AI are being increasingly utilized to manage the complexities of modern workflows and the challenges of digital connectivity. BlueMail has introduced features such as the "Later Board" to assist with task tracking by allowing users to visually categorize emails for later processing, thereby reducing inbox clutter. Additionally, its "MagicSync" tool automates cross-device configurations to streamline transitions between different operating systems and mobile platforms.
Parallel to these technical developments, research from IU International University of Applied Sciences highlights the growing pressure of constant digital availability in the workplace. A study indicates that 81% of people in Germany check their digital devices at least once per hour, a figure exceeding 90% among those aged 16 to 30. To combat information overload and mental strain, there is an increasing focus on combining traditional self-management methods with artificial intelligence to automate routine tasks and allow for more concentrated work.
