Several digital wallets and banks in Argentina are offering significant cashback promotions for public transportation, including buses and subways.

Ualá provides a 50% reimbursement on eligible bus trips through September 30, 2026, with a monthly cap of $15,000 per card. This benefit requires using a Ualá Mastercard (credit, debit, or prepaid) via compatible digital wallets and may take up to 60 days to credit.

Naranja X offers 50% off for buses, subways, and certain tolls when using Visa cards with NFC technology, featuring a monthly cap of $5,000 for card-related benefits, though some reports indicate a total benefit limit of up to $10,000.

Other financial institutions also provide savings: Santander offers 50% savings on subways and buses via digital payment methods like QR and contactless, while Banco Macro provides a 20% reimbursement on buses and subways when paying via QR Transporte, with a monthly cap of $10,000 per user.
