Digital workshops in Leszno empower seniors with smartphone skills

Digital workshops organized by the Stowarzyszenie Wygraj Siebie in Leszno have provided senior citizens with essential smartphone and internet skills. The initiative is part of the pilot edition of the Enea Energia Pokoleń grant program.

Participants learned how to navigate smartphone functions, use various applications, search for information, and recognize online threats to protect their personal data. Beyond technical proficiency, the workshops aimed to improve safety by teaching seniors how to use phone features during health emergencies.

In addition to digital literacy, the program serves a social purpose by helping seniors overcome isolation. Participants reported that the sessions provided opportunities to leave their homes, meet new people, and gain the confidence to stay connected with their families in a rapidly changing technological world.
