Digiworld shares surge as Created Future increases stake

Created Future, an entity closely linked to Digiworld Chairman Doan Hong Viet, has increased its ownership in Digiworld (DGW) by purchasing 2 million shares between August 13 and September 10, 2026. This transaction raised Created Future’s stake from 31.47% to approximately 32.38%.

On September 10, 2026, Digiworld shares hit the daily price ceiling, closing at 44,750 VND per share. This surge, coinciding with Apple’s iPhone 18 launch event, increased the market capitalization of Digiworld to nearly 9,900 billion VND and added approximately 211 billion VND to the value of the shares held by Created Future.

Additionally, Digiworld’s Board of Directors approved an increase in charter capital through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The company issued 2.2 million ESOP shares at 10,000 VND per share, raising 22 billion VND and increasing charter capital from 2,213 billion VND to 2,235 billion VND. In the first half of 2026, Digiworld reported revenue of nearly 15,800 billion VND, a 40% increase, and net profit of 509 billion VND, a 130% increase.
