Dilek Kaya İmamoğlu criticizes social inequality and rights violations

Dilek Kaya İmamoğlu addressed the 48th meeting of the Family Solidarity Network (ADA) at Saraçhane Park in Istanbul. The gathering, organized by families of those detained during the March 19 operation, included various political figures, journalists, and citizens.

During her speech, İmamoğlu criticized the increasing sense of insecurity, inequality, and hopelessness within Turkish society. She specifically highlighted recent attacks in schools, noting that children are being injured or losing their lives in places where they should be safest. She emphasized that the country's future is at risk if these issues of injustice and inequality are not addressed.

Additionally, İmamoğlu spoke out against perceived violations of human rights, women's rights, and the privacy of personal life, citing instances of police raids being broadcast in the media. She argued that attacks on the will of voters are becoming increasingly overt and that state institutions must respect legal and human rights standards.
