Dilip Ghosh asserts SIR is essential for national security

West Bengal Minister Dilip Ghosh has asserted that the implementation of SIR is essential for national security. He stated that individuals should not have the right to reside or vote without proper documentation.

Ghosh also addressed several political issues, including dismissing Mamata Banerjee’s allegations regarding EVM hacking as a tactic used when facing election losses. He further commented on allegations made by former minister Indranil Sen against Banerjee, noting that investigations are ongoing.

Additionally, Ghosh commented on a concerning incident involving Captain Smit Machhar, where a co-pilot reportedly attacked another pilot, and criticized the Congress party’s planned protests at Jantar Mantar.
