Dilip Ghosh criticizes Pakistan and Indian political alliances

West Bengal Minister Dilip Ghosh commented on several recent developments, including India’s sporting victories and the political landscape in India. Regarding the 2026 Asian Games men’s cricket final, Ghosh noted India’s victory over Pakistan, stating that Pakistan has ruined itself by focusing on conflict with India while facing internal struggles in its economy, politics, and administration.

On domestic politics, Ghosh criticized the alliance between the Samajwadi Party and Congress, suggesting that the ‘Indi’ alliance lacks cohesion regarding seat sharing and operates like private fiefdoms. He argued that despite various political maneuvers, the public continues to reject the opposition.

Addressing sports performance, Ghosh highlighted successes in Indian cricket, hockey, and archery, but noted the significant medal gap between India and China. He observed that neighboring nations like Japan, Korea, and Uzbekistan have benefited from long-term infrastructure planning, a trend he noted is gradually improving in India.
