Dilip Ghosh criticizes Rahul Gandhi over political engagement
West Bengal Minister Dilip Ghosh has launched a sharp critique against Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi. Ghosh accused Gandhi of avoiding direct confrontation during difficult circumstances and instead making statements from a distance.
Specifically, Ghosh questioned Gandhi's absence from Jharkhand, suggesting that he is merely supporting protests from Delhi rather than facing issues on the ground. Ghosh stated that as the Leader of the Opposition, Gandhi has a responsibility to engage in parliamentary debate and confront the government directly, asserting that “battles are not fought from behind.”
Additionally, Ghosh directed criticism toward former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, citing allegations of corruption involving thousands of crores and the RG Kar hospital incident. He suggested that a sense of change is growing among the public due to these ongoing issues.
