Dilip Ghosh denies BJP role in attack on AITMC MLA Kunal Ghosh

West Bengal Minister Dilip Ghosh has denied any involvement by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in a recent attack on AITMC MLA Kunal Ghosh. The incident occurred in Hooghly, where Kunal Ghosh claimed his vehicle was targeted with eggs, stones, and rods by protesters.

Minister Dilip Ghosh questioned the timing and nature of the MLA's claims, suggesting the allegations were an attempt to gain media attention due to a lack of public support for the MLA's recent activities. He noted that while the MLA had conducted several public meetings, no official restrictions were placed on his movements by the police.

Addressing allegations of vote theft made by Mamata Banerjee, Dilip Ghosh asserted that the recent election results reflected the will of the people and denied any widespread electoral malpractice.
