Dilip Ghosh warns of action against illegal Durga Puja collections

West Bengal Minister Dilip Ghosh has announced that the government will take immediate action against individuals illegally collecting money under the guise of Durga Puja celebrations. He emphasized that no corruption or arbitrary behavior will be permitted during the festival.

Addressing several political issues, Ghosh criticized the demand for Z+ security for Abhishek Banerjee, stating that providing high-level security to individuals facing corruption allegations is an insult to the administration. He also commented on the legal proceedings regarding the Trinamool Congress (TMC) symbol, noting that the matter is currently pending in court under the supervision of the Election Commission.

Additionally, Ghosh responded to various regional matters, including the bail hearing for Congress candidate Milan Pradhan in the Nandigram by-election and recent allegations made by Rahul Gandhi regarding the SIR process.
