Dillian Whyte discusses Moses Itauma's defeat and eyes return against Johnny Fisher

Dillian Whyte has commented on Moses Itauma’s recent loss to Filip Hrgovic, which saw Itauma lose the IBF heavyweight title in the ninth round due to exhaustion. Whyte, who was defeated by Itauma in a first-round knockout in August 2025, stated he was not surprised by the outcome. He suggested that Itauma’s early victory over him may have led to a lack of proper training or a sense of invincibility.

Following his 13-month hiatus, the 38-year-old Whyte expressed readiness to return to the ring. He indicated interest in a bout against UK heavyweight Johnny Fisher, noting that Fisher’s team has expressed a desire to fight him. Whyte confirmed he has recovered from an injury sustained in his last match and is in good physical condition.
