Dilling drone attacks kill four civilians in South Kordofan
Four civilians, including a woman and a child, were killed during drone attacks targeting residential neighborhoods in Dilling, South Kordofan state. The Sudan Doctors Network reported that the strikes occurred on Friday, hitting the Al-Tumat, Al-Malakiya, and Al-Maaser neighborhoods.
The network attributed the drone attacks to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). In a statement, the Sudan Doctors Network condemned the strikes as a grave violation of international humanitarian law and the rules protecting civilians during armed conflict. They warned that such repeated attacks on populated areas increase human casualties, disrupt access to essential services, and spread instability among local populations.
The organization has called on the United Nations and international human rights organizations to condemn the targeting of civilians and to take steps toward holding those responsible accountable. While Sudanese authorities and rights groups have frequently accused the RSF of targeting civilian infrastructure, the group has not issued a formal comment regarding these specific allegations.
