Dilmah to launch Urban Estate dining concept in Colombo

Dilmah has announced the launch of the Dilmah Urban Estate, a new dining and retail destination located at the One Galle Face Mall in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Scheduled to officially open to the public on September 7, 2026, the venue aims to transform the traditional Ceylon tea experience by integrating tea culture with sophisticated gastronomy.

The concept follows an ‘estate-to-cup’ philosophy, featuring a menu that utilizes tea as both a primary ingredient and a source of inspiration. Offerings will include single-estate teas, iced teas, artisanal ‘t-mocktails’, and tea cocktails. The design of the space is intended to reflect the aesthetics of tea factories and fields.

This Colombo flagship is intended to serve as a foundation for a global expansion strategy, with plans to introduce the dining concept to international markets, beginning with Malaysia.
