Dilovası Municipality conducts market inspections

Dilovası Municipality teams have launched comprehensive inspections of local markets to protect public health and consumer rights. The audits focus on several key areas, including the verification of product expiration dates, store hygiene, storage conditions, and shelf organization.

Inspectors are also performing price consistency checks by comparing shelf labels with the prices charged at checkout counters. Officials emphasized that price tags must be clear, legible, and up-to-date to prevent misleading consumers.

Mayor Ramazan Ömeroğlu stated that the primary goal of these inspections is to ensure residents can shop with peace of mind. He noted that the municipality aims to prevent practices that could jeopardize public health and emphasized that the process focuses on information and compliance before moving to punitive measures.
