DIMAND leads Greek market with over 400,000 sqm of certified green buildings

Greek developer DIMAND reports that it has delivered more than 400,000 square metres of LEED‑ and BREEAM‑certified green buildings across Greece. The company accounts for over 35% of the nation’s LEED‑certified stock, meaning more than one in three LEED BD+C projects in the country bear its signature, making DIMAND the largest certified green‑building developer in Greece.

DIMAND’s strategy focuses on reusing existing structures, urban regeneration and embedding ESG principles in all investments. Highlighted projects include the Piraeus Tower – revived after nearly five decades as a LEED Platinum office – the MINION, and HUB 26 in Thessaloniki, the first large‑scale bioclimatic business park in northern Greece, which now employs roughly 2,500 workers. Ongoing developments feature the Piraeus Judicial Building, the Cambas Project, the renovation of the historic FIX complex in Thessaloniki, a new district in Gournes, Heraklion, and a bio‑climatic complex being built with DEI on Mesogeiou Avenue. The firm is also expanding its certification scope by adopting WELL standards focused on health and wellbeing.
