DIMAR grants maritime concession for Playa Dorada project in Buenaventura
The General Maritime Directorate (DIMAR), through the Port Captaincy of Buenaventura, has granted a maritime concession for the development of the Playa Dorada tourism project. Located in the rural area of the Buenaventura District, the authorization covers more than 9,100 square meters of low-tide land.
This concession provides legal security for the initiative, which has been part of the region's natural and recreational offerings for several years. The project aims to promote economic and tourism development while ensuring that the use of public maritime assets complies with current technical, legal, and administrative regulations.
Captain of the Port, Commander César Humberto Grisales López, stated that the delivery is a significant step in the construction of a maritime nation and reaffirms the institutional commitment to the development and management of the Colombian Pacific coast. The beneficiary of the concession, Jorge Arcadio Agudelo Herrera, noted that the formalization recognizes years of work to consolidate the project.
