Dimitrios Goutas suffers ACL injury in Turkish Super Lig

Greek central defender and Genclerbirligi captain Dimitrios Goutas has suffered a serious knee injury during a match against Konyaspor. The 32-year-old player was forced to leave the pitch in the 30th minute of the Super Lig fixture.

Medical examinations and MRI scans have confirmed a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee. The injury is expected to sideline the defender for the remainder of the season, marking a significant loss for the Ankara-based club where he has made 44 appearances.
