Dimitris Galamatis holds meetings to boost regional cooperation

Dimitris Galamatis, the Secretary of the Decentralized Administration of Macedonia and Thrace (ADMT), has held a series of meetings to strengthen institutional cooperation within the region.

In Iraklia Serres, Galamatis met with Mayor Kleanthi Kotsakiachidis to discuss collaboration between municipal services and the ADMT. The agenda focused on local and supra-local issues in the Serres prefecture, infrastructure, and administrative changes resulting from the new Code of Local Government.

Additionally, Galamatis met with Kyriakos Anastasiadis, the Rector of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), in Thessaloniki. The discussions centered on enhancing the university’s social role and external engagement through closer cooperation between the university and the ADMT. The leaders aimed to resolve pending administrative issues that could impact the university’s developmental progress.
