Dimitris Koutsoumpas addresses KNE Festival in Thessaloniki

Dimitris Koutsoumpas, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE), addressed attendees at the 52nd KNE 'Odigiti' Festival in Thessaloniki. During his speech, Koutsoumpas asserted that the KKE represents a necessary alternative to the current political system, claiming that popular discontent is rising against the government and established political parties.

Koutsoumpas criticized the administration of Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the social democratic opposition, arguing that their policies prioritize profits over public prosperity. He also commented on Alexis Tsipras, suggesting that Tsipras's warnings regarding potential social unrest serve to support the existing system. The General Secretary emphasized that the party aims to transform public anger into a political force to pursue socialism.
