Dimitris Koutsoumpas attends Kaisariani 200 memorial exhibition

Dimitris Koutsoumpas, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE), and Magda Fyssa attended the opening of an exhibition dedicated to the 200 communists executed in Kaisariani. The event took place at Triti Park during the first day of the 52nd KNE Festival, titled ‘Odigitis’.

The exhibition features historical evidence, including unique photographs, notes from the executed, and materials from the KKE archives. Descendants of the 200 executed individuals were also in attendance.

In a statement, Koutsoumpas emphasized the importance of historical memory in the current era, describing the 200 communists as living examples for modern struggles against fascism and war. He noted that the festival includes a program of concerts, discussions, and historical study.
