Dimitris Koutsoumpas criticizes Greece 2030 vision

Dimitris Koutsoumpas, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE), has released a TikTok video responding to Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’s vision for ‘Greece 2030’. Using a GPS metaphor, Koutsoumpas criticizes the government’s use of artificial intelligence to present a version of the future that he claims obscures current socio-economic realities.

The KKE argues that the government’s vision ignores issues such as the high cost of living, low wages, long working hours, and shortages in healthcare and education. Koutsoumpas stated that there is an alternative path for the country where technological and productive growth benefits the majority rather than a few, and called for citizens to participate in a panhellenic rally in Thessaloniki during the Thessaloniki International Fair on September 5.
