Dimitris Papanas clinches double win at Misano in McLaren Trophy Europe

Greek driver Dimitris Papanas, 43, secured victories in both Pro‑Am races at the Misano circuit, the third round of the 2024 McLaren Trophy Europe season. He co‑drives the #12 Raptor Engineering entry with Italian racer Ferdinando D'Auria. The double win adds valuable points to Papanas' championship campaign after earlier strong showings at Monza and Spa‑Francorchamps.

The podium ceremony featured the playing of the Greek national anthem, marking the first time the anthem has been heard at a European GT championship event. Papanas praised the teamwork, thanked his sponsors and expressed pride in representing Greece on the international stage.
