Dimitris Papastergiou confirms Recovery Fund integrity in Greece

Greek Minister of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence, Dimitris Papastergiou, addressed several political and administrative topics during the 90th Thessaloniki International Fair. He confirmed that not a single euro from the Recovery Fund has been lost within the Ministry of Digital Governance.

Regarding upcoming elections, Papastergiou expressed a desire for the electorate to provide results that ensure Greece avoids future instability. He also announced his intention to run as a Member of Parliament for the Trikala constituency, noting his personal and family ties to the region.

Addressing recent government announcements and criticisms, the Minister suggested that the public's perception of the government's mistakes has shifted. He also commented on pension reforms, stating that the cumulative impact of recent measures on retirees must be examined, acknowledging the difficulty of balancing support across different citizen groups.
