Dimitris Starovas climbs to Panagia Chozoviotissa monastery on Amorgos
Dimitris Starovas fulfilled a decades-long personal goal by climbing to the Panagia Chozoviotissa monastery on the island of Amorgos. On August 15, the artist successfully navigated the steep path and approximately 300 steps to reach the historic site, which sits about 300 meters above sea level.
Starovas noted that while he had visited Amorgos at ages 20 and 30, he had not completed the climb during those previous trips. Now 63, he shared his achievement with followers to convey the message that it is never too late to pursue one's desires. This milestone follows his recovery from a stroke in 2024, after which he implemented significant lifestyle changes, including strict diet and exercise regimens.
