Dinamo Bucharest to unveil new club logo after fan backlash

FC Dinamo Bucharest has decided to replace its current emblem following strong criticism from supporters. Club official Andrei Nicolescu said the process is in its final stage, with ongoing dialogue with fan representatives that has been "very open and positive" for over seven weeks. He noted that the new logo will appear on kits and club merchandise for the next season and that the redesign could take between 14 and 18 months to complete, depending on agency work and registration procedures.

The change is also driven by the need for the club to meet eligibility requirements for European competitions. Former player and shareholder Ciprian Marica commented that the present logo will not remain, explaining that past attempts to register a Dinamo emblem failed and that the current design was adopted only as a temporary solution. Both Nicolescu and Marica emphasized that the new visual identity aims to reflect a positive vibe between the club and its supporters.
