Dinamo București signs Dutch striker Dean Zandbergen

Dinamo București has officially signed 24-year-old Dutch striker Dean Zandbergen from VVV-Venlo. The player has committed to a three-season contract that runs until June 30, 2029.

Zandbergen arrives with a strong recent scoring record, having scored four goals in his first four matches of the current season for Venlo. His previous tenure at VVV-Venlo included 48 appearances and 21 goals. His career has been spent entirely in the Netherlands, playing for clubs such as Sparta Rotterdam, FC Dordrecht, and Excelsior Maassluis.

Upon his presentation, Zandbergen expressed his excitement to play for the club, stating, “I am very happy to be here and can’t wait to play for the biggest and most loved club in Romania!” He is expected to compete for a starting position alongside players such as Oliver Hintsa and Alexandru Pop. He may potentially debut in an upcoming Romanian Cup match against Sporting Liești.
