Dinamo Sassari loses home debut to Montecatini

Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari suffered a defeat in their home season debut, losing 72-81 to La T Gema Montecatini. Despite a strong performance in the fourth quarter, the team struggled due to the absence of Riccardo Pisano, Kaza Kajami-Keane, and captain Jeff Brooks, who was sidelined with the flu.

Bryce Nze led the team with a double-double, recording 16 points and 12 rebounds. Coach Luca Vitali noted that while the team's defensive zone and reaction were positive, they need to improve their physical approach and cohesion to compete in the long season.
