Dinamo Zagreb defeats Segesta 5-0 in anniversary friendly

Dinamo Zagreb secured a dominant 5-0 victory against Segesta in a friendly match held in Sisak. The game was organized to celebrate the 120th anniversary of Segesta, Croatia’s oldest active football club.

Dinamo coach Mario Kovačević utilized the international break to provide more playing time to squad members with less recent minutes and those not called up for national team duties. Dani Rodríguez, who joined Dinamo from Barcelona this summer, scored his first goal for the club. Other goalscorers included Luka Stojković, Mislav Oršić, Robert Mudražija, and Miha Zajc.

Mislav Oršić, acting as captain in the absence of Josip Mišić, notably scored a goal from the left side of the penalty area. The match served as a competitive rhythm builder for the Zagreb-based side during the break in league play.
