Dinamo Zagreb fans honor deceased supporter Matija Vranić with match tribute

On 29 May 2026, 19‑year‑old Matija Vranić, a Dinamo Zagreb supporter and player for NK Duga Resa, died in a traffic collision near Gornja Reka, Jastrebarsko. Police reported he was driving under the influence of alcohol (1.24 ‰) and was not wearing a seatbelt; the crash killed him on the spot, injured a passenger seriously, and left the driver and another passenger with minor injuries. A criminal complaint was filed against the driver.
