Dinamo Zagreb President Zvonimir Boban faces criticism

Dinamo Zagreb president Zvonimir Boban is facing intense scrutiny from fans and critics following the club's recent performance, including a derby loss against Hajduk Split and failure to qualify for the Champions League. While much of the initial dissatisfaction was directed at coach Marijo Kovačević, criticism has increasingly shifted toward Boban's leadership and sports policy.

Critics argue that the club has abandoned its previous high standards and successful sporting principles, citing poor decision-making regarding player recruitment and a lack of dominance in the domestic league. Observers suggest that the club's current direction is a result of Boban's personal stubbornness and a series of strategic errors. The club's upcoming matches, including a fixture against Anderlecht, are viewed as critical moments that may determine the leadership's next steps.
