Dinamo Zagreb replaces Mario Kovačević with Oscar Garcia

Dinamo Zagreb has announced the mutual termination of head coach Mario Kovačević's contract following a 0:1 defeat against Rudeš. Kovačević leaves the club after 73 matches, during which he secured a domestic double.

Jerko Leko will serve as interim coach for the next two matches. The club is reportedly moving to appoint Oscar Garcia as the new head coach. Garcia, a former Barcelona midfielder, currently manages Pogon Szczecin in Poland. The official announcement of the new appointment is expected on November 9, following Dinamo's upcoming fixtures in the Europa League and the domestic league.

Albert Capellas, head of the club's football school, has played a key role in the selection process. The club's management, including President Zvonimir Boban, will finalize the decision.
