Dinamo-Zrinjevac Athletics Meeting sees Croatian records broken

At the 53rd Dinamo-Zrinjevac International Athletics Meeting held at Stadion Mladosti, Nina Vuković set a new Croatian record in the 1,000 meters with a time of 2:36.67. Her performance surpassed the previous record of 2:42.45 set by Vanja Perišić in 2011 by nearly six seconds, earning her second place behind American Juliette Whittaker.

In the men's discus throw, world and two-time European champion Kristjan Čeh won the Dr. Ivan Šebalj memorial event with a throw of 70.46 meters, breaking the meeting record previously held by Sweden's Daniel Stahl.

Other notable results include Marino Bloudek finishing fourth in the 800 meters with a time of 1:45.50, while Yohanes Tefera of Ethiopia won the race and set a new meeting record. In the 1,500 meters, Kenya's Vincent Keter set a new meeting record of 3:38.00, improving the previous 12-year-old record by over 10 seconds. Gabriel Moronta of the Dominican Republic won the 400 meters, setting a new meeting record of 44.81.
