Dino Beganović appointed as Ferrari reserve driver

Dino Beganović, a 22-year-old driver of Swedish-Bosnian descent, has been appointed as the development and reserve driver for Scuderia Ferrari HP in Formula 1 starting next year.

A long-standing member of the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy since 2020, Beganović will transition from the junior academy to a formal role within the F1 team. This position will involve deeper integration into the team's programs and requires him to be prepared to replace a standard driver during race weekends if necessary.

Beganović has already participated in several tests for the team, including four appearances during first free practice (FP1) sessions. He will join Ferrari at several remaining races this year while simultaneously completing the final two rounds of the FIA Formula 2 championship.
