Dino Merlin concert cancellation sparks legal dispute

A dispute has emerged following the cancellation of singer Dino Merlin’s concert, which was scheduled for September 5 in Kraljevo. The event's cancellation has led to conflicting accusations between the performer's management and the organizer, Sonder Music.

Merlin’s team claims the cancellation was necessary because Digi Media Production, the company responsible for technical and security requirements, failed to meet contractual obligations. They stated that the safety of the performer and the audience was the priority and that they could not proceed without guaranteed technical and organizational security.

Conversely, Sonder Music has accused Merlin’s management, specifically mentioning manager Dada Bulat and Digi Media, of fraud. The organizer alleges that the management team was aware the concert would not take place but continued negotiations regardless. Sonder Music claims they paid 100,000 euros in cash to the management team without receiving an invoice, suggesting potential tax evasion. The organizer has announced intentions to file criminal charges and legal action to resolve the matter.
