Dino Merlin concert in Kraljevo sparks protests in Serbia

A planned concert by singer Dino Merlin in Kraljevo, Serbia, has sparked significant public backlash and organized protests. Under the slogan “Nećeš pjevati” (You won't sing), the Association of War Disabled Veterans of Serbia has scheduled a large gathering for August 26 at Jovan Sarić Square to express opposition to the performance.

Critics and an online petition seeking to ban the concert cite the singer's past controversial statements regarding Serbs as the primary reason for the boycott. Despite the protests and a banner appearing briefly on a local bridge, interest in the event remains high, with reports indicating approximately 25,000 tickets have already been sold for the open-air spectacle.
