Dino Merlin concert ticket chaos prompts refunds and safety measures in Sarajevo

On 31 July 2026, Bosnian singer Dino Merlin performed the first of three sold‑out concerts at Koševo stadium in Sarajevo, marking his return after an 11‑year hiatus. Hundreds of ticket‑holding fans were unable to enter the venue because of logistical problems, including a single entrance and a late start, leading some to shout “Dino, thieves”.

Organisers from Adriaticket said tickets were not oversold, blamed unforeseen circumstances, and offered to honour the affected tickets for the Sunday concert on 2 August if fans email the ticket details by 20:00 on 1 August. The incident caused traffic congestion on Sarajevo’s main roads and at several border crossings as fans travelled to the city.

During the second concert, a drone show projected a likeness of late Bosnian music legend Halid Bešlić over the stadium as a tribute. The three‑night series continued with a second show on 1 August and a third scheduled for 2 August.
